Plantcorp has informed Vet Biotechnology that, despite the concerted efforts of both companies, the capital raising will not proceed - Plantcorp has no intention of extending the takeover bid for Vet Biotechnology beyond Friday 30 June, 2006 and expects the offer will lapse on that date (the takeover bid remains subject to the following defeating conditions: (a) Plantcorp raising $3.25 million by the issue of 16.25 million Plantcorp shares at 20 cents each; (b) permission for admission to quotation of Plantcorp's securities being granted by ASX no later than 7 days after the end of the offer period) | 26/05/2006 |
we understand Plantcorp Limited is making a takeover bid for the company Vet Biotechnology Limited, a company listed on the Newcastle Stock Exchange - directors of Plantcorp include JD Shervington and A Rankine-Wilson who are evidently associated with small WA resource companies - it appears to us Plantcorp has secured about 97% acceptances (and 86% odd of options), yet rather strangely the company continues to extend the offer (it is now out to April 2006) | 10/03/2006 |
we seek contact details for this company to admin@delisted.com.au please | 27/02/2006 |
this is an unlisted public company that arose from the ashes of Jingellic Minerals NL in 2000 - we understand that in September 2000, Beach Petroleum investors received one share in Plantcorp for every 85.864395 they held in Beach - Plantcorp has virtually fallen over subsequently and most of the 20,000 Beach shareholders affected will be rounded down to zero as a result of a 1 for 3500 share consolidation - 21 Oct 03, now under a Deed of Company Arrangement - it is doubtful that the shares have any value at all but until a liquidator's declaration is issued to that effect any capital loss cannot be claimed - 19 Feb 04, has emerged from administration and is therefore back in the control of directors - 30 Mar 04 - the company is a shell - there have been proposals to inject funds and get the company going again - the intention is to go to shareholders for approval - this should occur within a couple of months - Mar'05 lodges Notice of Meeting And Documents Re Buy-Back with ASIC | 28/04/2005 |
